In light of the recent events in Paris, I couldn’t help but remember being there this summer. The parks were full of children walking with their parents or running ahead to explore. Couples walked hand-in-hand strolling through the beautiful grounds around the Louvre or along the Seine. It was a happy, peaceful time. Today, as I hear the memorial services, my heart goes out to all of the family and friends of the victims and I hope for everyone’s sake that there will be peace again in this very beautiful city.
