On Orcas Island, which is part of the San Juan islands off the coast of Washington state, beautiful views like this are common. You can also walk through old growth forest or hike up to Mount Constitution which gives you a spectacular view of the surrounding islands and waterways. With cool breezes, sunny days and gorgeous views of the water from just about anywhere, it’s my idea of a wonderful vacation spot.
