I was teaching a private student the essence of house portraits and painted Borroum's Drug Store along side her through the lesson. Borroum's Drugstore and Soda Fountain is a legend and landmark in northern Mississippi. I daydream of living in a town where the kids walk home after school and stop in the local drug store for a malt with their friends before going home and starting their homework.
