Maury County Photographers and Painters in Spring Hill's Creative Spirits class are collaborating to create a new exhibit to be displayed at Square Market & Cafe in July.Typically reference photos are not displayed alongside the paintings they inspire, but they will be in this exhibit. You may notice the painter taking liberties and expressing only the information in paint he or she desires. The trick is to give the artistic essence of your subject, not just a copy.A painting requires a little mystery, some vagueness, and some fantasy. When you always make your meaning perfectly plain you end up boring people. ~Edgar Degas
