I love that the Maury County courthouse is so tall you can see it for miles and miles away.... a tall spire pointing to Heaven. The beautiful, historic courthouse was built in 1903, and is long past adequately supplying the counties needs, but it still keeps serving us with the purpose it was intended. My hope is that it will be turned into a museum one day and continue to anchor the public square. To help put in to perspective how tall the spire is, the sphere at the top is 4 feet in diameter.
