So it's been awhile since I've painted on teabags, but for Christmas my brother Rob gave me a beautiful aqua tin full of Fortnum & Mason Royal Blend tea. There are so many teabags with colorful tags and matching bags lying about I was compelled to pull out the alcohol inks and start painting. This is the first of a pink Lenten Rose. Now that we are entering the new year, my mind turns toward thoughts of the early spring garden and nothing brings me more pleasure than when the crocus, daffodils, and Lenten Roses start to bloom. it's a promise of sunshine and warm temps are just around the corner.
