Today in class we had a former student joining us after a long absence, and she was surprised to discover our reference photo was of a vintage VW bus. The student's husband is VW employee and the painting was fun to paint and means so much to her. Plus who doesn't fantasize about dropping everything and moving to an island somewhere? This painting was my class demonstration painting. What a joy to paint!
