or Commission your own! We've been snowed in here in middle Tennessee all week with temps dropping to low, single digits overnight. Not only can't I leave the house, I don't want to. However, there were classes to teach. One student suggested we meet online for Open Studio, where everyone paints from their own reference. Genius!Daydreaming of my recent New Year's trip to southern Florida, I chose to paint a Coconut Tree from a reference photo snapped at the Lauderdale by the Sea Yacht and Surf club where I spent New Year's Day in the sun, sand, surf and warmth with my friend Angie and all her surf club friends.
