I dreamed last night that I was painting a portrait of a Madame Alexander doll. The only one I ever owned was named Marmie, from Little Women. But that was not this doll. The doll I was painting was brunette and had a icy blue dress.
This morning I searched for photos of Madame Alexander dolls and couldn't find anything that looked like the doll in my dream. But every photo was beautiful. Every doll was beautiful. I just started painting. And the Ballerina was my first.
