Each month I teach a watercolor paint-along class and prepare a reference painting ahead of time to use in the promotional materials for class as well as reference during the class. Typically, I prepare a painting indicative of the month the class will be taught, however I'm over winter. Today I'm in the studio attempting to keep warm in 6* outside time and somewhere in the 50s* inside temp. My 1920s Craftsman cottage is adorable but it is NOT insulated. Only an issue a few weeks out of the year. Single-digit temps are not common in middle Tennessee. They aren't rare, but they aren't common either. I'm dreaming of a warm, bright, colorful spring!
