Red apples on a green and white cloth set my mind to creating a story. Were they freshly picked from the old apple tree on the back lawn or from a local orchard? Were they purchased at the Farmers market just down the way? Or did a friend stop by to share their harvest? Autumn is my favorite season. Pass the caramel, please.
