Is August part of summer or part of Autumn? Here in the south, it can feel like summer up to November, so autumn is more of a mindset. I would love to experience what most people think of as the idyllic New England autumn, but unless I move farther north, it will just have to be created like a mood. Painted this one yesterday with a cup of coffee in a fly-fishing mug and added Pumpkin Spice creamer. Felt so much like autumn, I ordered an LL Bean sweatshirt.
