Plein Air Austin had a paint out this morning at Chapel Dulcinea. I really didn't want to fight the rush hour traffic to get all the way across to the opposite side of Austin, but the weather was beautiful and I didn't have anything else pressing, so I went. It couldn't have been better. Temperature if anything slightly cool (in Austin on the tail end of a hot summer, that is a rare treat), humidity low (another rarity), and shockingly blue cloudless sky. So glad I braved the traffic to go. I even managed to fit in two paintings in the time I had available.
