I just love this photo and can't stop painting it. I think it must be the rich blues and yellows that appeal so much to me. This is my third painting from the photo I took at Arches National Park in November last year. I painted this one to have one to show as one of my 3 sample paintings when I went to be juried into the Capitol Art Society (Austin's oldest visual arts group). It worked, I was accepted as a member!
