"Jump In" Are you an exuberant 'jumper inner'? Me neither. For example, I was trying to get this painting done for Friday (You know, with some caption about 'Jumping Into the Weekend') but I didn't get it done til Sat afternoon! And actually it's kinda fitting. It looks real cool to be people jumping into water, (and the fourth girl from the left really gets points for style)...but honestly, I am a 'wader in-er' I like. to approach everything slowly, feeling my way into it...no big shocking (some call it exhilarating) plunge for me. I once had a medical doctor ask me about my daily mood/attitude...and when I looked confused he said, "I mean, do you bounce out of bed every morning, eager to tackle the day, enthusiastic about everything?" Um, no....and that sounds kinda harsh and overwhelming. I am more like a photograph, that is slowly coming into view and focus in the developing tray...or a cat that cautiously and quietly enters the day, the situation, the water. So if you are one of those "jumpers/bouncer/enthusiasts" I am sooo happy FOR YOU. I will be the one bringing up the slower, contemplative, journaling, coffee slurping rear.
