Media: Acrylic mixed media on heavy paper
Size: 18x24 in
This 18' x 24" still life is mixed media on heavy paper. It is a standard size so easy to pop in a frame. I am practicing a serious amount of self care this week: exercise, fresh air, and today I nourished my soul by wandering around in a plant nursery. I got some things that will hopefully flourish next Spring...so I am orienting toward future and goodness. Also, as Miley Cyrus reminded us in her smash hit "Flowers" this past year, "I can buy MYSELF flowers!" Yesterday I treated myself to salmon colored 'peony tulips'...TWO BUNCHES! Honestly, they are "pure delight in a vase". And studies show that simply looking at flowers, and inhaling flower scents, can lead to decreased levels of stress, anxiety, and depression.
